About the Business: Beat Black
Beat Black is a Canadian company that was first opened in 2007. The name was chosen as a way to represent a darker side of things, ie. beating black blood instead of red. "Beat Black" was always supposed to accompany an anatomically correct human heart but the logo was never created. Initially I sold all sorts of things under this name with no real focus except for the themes; pillows, boxes, key chains, voodoo dolls, toys, beach glass. It wasn't until I discovered polymer clay that I knew I could finally settle down and create a shop with some consistency. The first necklace design of (what was supposed to be) an anatomically correct human heart sold so effortlessly compared to anything else I had listed for sale. Next up for offer was the brain jewelry which helped this business grow one step closer into what it is today.

Since those early days I've been been lucky enough to cross paths with all sorts of unique and creative individuals, both buyers and sellers. So far I've been able to ship my handmade anatomy, sea life, zombie, candy, gore (and more) jewelry worldwide to over 25 countries and growing.
Now Beat Black has transformed into Crimeberry - where sprinkles casually meet up with horror to make sprinkle-horror babies. Soon to be offering some of the old, updated designs from Beat Black along side some brand new pieces.
